Brill, thanks Natalie. Just to let you know, I wore my wig to netball for the first time last night and played in our leagues Spring League final. I played 2 matches all the way through as Centre/WA, so lots of running around. My wig stayed in place brilliantly. The girls all thought it was fantastic. And I was the only one with perfect hair at the end !!!!!!!!! Great

Hi there, my name's xxxxx, I came in on Saturday with my sister and purchased my first wig. just to let you know my 2 girls thought it was great and my work colleagues couldn't believe how real it looks.  Many thanks.

I just wanted to thank you again for your time last week when you helped xxx with her hair and wig.  You seem so SPOT ON with how your customers may (or may not) feel and the stages they will go through, it's a real credit to you.  Just as you would expect, we had a "hair loss" moment that same evening, it's just as you get nearer the dreaded stage, isn't it? 

And who else to express your resentment about it all to, but your parents? 

Then she got on with it and was OK!  Her birthday outing with her friends that w-end was a godsend in a way, and an unavoidable trigger.  They re-assured her by complimenting her on her look, and the same happened this week when she managed to attend an evening do with her company (chemo was kindly postponed).  No-one AT ALL cottoned on to her wig, since most of them thought she had glandular fever until she put them right!  It did her good, since the day before we had ANOTHER crisis, emergency etc... these things you are not prepared for and have no knowledge of trigger a huge amount of terror.

So anyway, your hard work and kind words to xxxx were not in vain, and I know for sure we could not have had a better helper than you.  People like yourself make it all seem so easy, "normal" and bearable, and we are truly grateful to you.

I dare say we shall see you soon with regard to the

second wig, I am prepared for this one getting some good wear before too long!  Then we will be in real trouble, won't we?  Ha ha...

You probably don't remember me but I bought an "April" wig from you last September.    I now have about a quarter of an inch of hair growing back so I shall be needing to wear the wig for a bit longer yet!    However, I just wanted to let you know how delighted I have been with it.    Several people, when they learned of my chemo, said " I see you haven't lost your hair, then!".     And in just the last couple of weeks three people independently have said "Your hair looks nice today.    Have you just had it done?"   What better compliment could there be!    I have passed on your name to my hairdresser and to others so I hope you hear from some of them.   

 Once again, thanks for knowing exactly what would suit me!

 I have been rethinking the style of wig I would like and have decided that I would prefer to try some shorter ones. I've moved on considerably since my last session with you and am beginning to think that I should probably start to treat this as a positive opportunity to consider a change of image rather than a dreadful negative thing which I have to endure for several months.
